Right of Use for the Pipeline:
RGPL has acquired RoU of the land strip required for the construction, operation and maintenance of pipeline under the provision of Petroleum and Minerals Pipelines (Acquisition of Right of User in Land) Act 1962 (PMP Act). The ownership of the land remains with the landowners.
Pipeline Access and Security:
As per the provisions of the PMP Act, all landowners have been communicated and are obligated to keep the pipeline RoU free of structures, deep rooted trees, wells and tube wells and other permanent obstructions to facilitate accessing the pipeline for routine patrolling, repairs and maintenance and in the event of any emergency.
